Backup Torrent Data of qBitTorrent for Windows Re-installation

Press "Windows logo key+R" to bring up the Run command box then type %localappdata%/qBittorrent and hit enter.

A new folder will open, copy everything from that folder to a separate partition onto a new folder.

Repeat the same process but this time copy from %appdata%/qbittorrent folder.

Remember to keep the files of these two folders in new separate folders. We will use them later when required to restore qBittorrent.

After you reinstall OS, Install qBittorrent. Close any running qBittorrent processes first and then follow the previous steps again to go to %localappdata%qBittorrent folder. This time delete everything from that folder, copy everything from the backup we kept earlier for that folder. Repeat same process for %appdata%/qbittorrent folder too.

After you have copied everything back, open qBittorrent and it should detect all your torrents provided that your drive letters haven't changed.
