I have 2 Google accounts and one has a credit balance. I would like to make an in app purchase but when I do the payment defaults to the wrong account. Is there a way to fix this? (In app payment defaults set to wrong Google account. How to change this?)
Solution
Please follow these steps to change your Google account for in-app purchases:
- Uninstall the app
- Then go to the WEB BROWSER VERSION of the play store
- Add the account you need to your device. (Settings -> Google -> Account -> Add account)
- Check the account tab in the Google Play menu to Make sure you're logged into the right account (very important)
- Then find the app/game and download it from there
- Wait for it to install.
- Open the app and try making the purchase again.
Or you can follow the steps below -
- Go to settings -> Google -> Accounts
- Click on other accounts that you don't want to use as payment account.
- Click on remove account
- Make sure there is no other account available other than the account that you are gonna use for making payment.
- Now open the app/game and try to make the purchase. It will surely work.
